Earlier today, I went back to my alma mater to attend the opening of this year’s sports intramurals. As always, this is also the same time the cheerdancing competition (within all colleges of the university) takes place, which is probably one of the most, if not the most, anticipated event in every year. I’m glad that I became a part of it, even for a short time. It’s been a while since I had my last “training” and I miss it, especially seeing all the stunts, dance, costumes, make-up, ribboned hair, and competitive people in the audience who cheer for their respective colleges. I just miss it. Good old times…

This is my nephew, Nathan, taken earlier today yesterday. We had a very good weather and the sun was shining beautifully and so I thought, “lens flare!“ 

I’ve always admired how sun rays are presented in movies/music videos in a way that it makes the scene visually captivating. I have been mesmerized ever since and been wanting to do one, a very good one, really bad. Hence why I thought of it at once when the opportunity came. To be honest, I’m a bit upset because it’s not as evident as I wanted it to be. But hey, practice makes perfect. :)
